Mason, Rylan, and Elli,
I was a little lazy with pictures this month, but you’ll get the basic idea of what January looked like for us. AND I just finished making our 2017 photo album from these monthly letters, and in making it, I greatly appreciated every time I wasn’t too wordy; so I’m going to try to keep this short.
In January, we had a fly-a-kite day with Daddy; Tiptwo ran away twice and we were scared an owl was going to kill him in the middle of the night (we found a dead headless bunny right outside our kitchen window a few days before Tiptwo got out) but he was fine both times; we had Nonni and Poppy over for Poppy’s birthday meal; we had a couple snows and some days off of school; Mason, Rylan, and I had a dentist appointment where I literally drug (dragged?) Rylan down the hall to the room but by the end of the appointment he got brave and sat in the chair; we briefly checked out the natural playground at Montgomery Hall Park when it was covered in snow; we went to the jumping place with Nonni on a day off of school; Elli got my milk foamer stuck in her hair one day I was in the shower; all 3 of you got haircuts; Mason you went to 2 birthday parties; Nonni started Bible Quizzing practice on Sundays with Journey kids; Mason, you became an expert pill swallower (cod liver oil - yum!) and we are insanely proud of you!; we got to take a few walks during the days when it was warm enough; and Mason, you lost both of your front teeth!! We tried to pull it out by tying it to the drone and flying it, but it wasn’t loose enough yet. Right after that we tied a string to your tooth and to a nerf bullet and shot it, but it didn’t come out then either. BUT the next day, you tried it with the nerf gun again, and it worked! You did it when Mommy and Daddy weren’t even watching, so we were sad we missed it.
Here are this month’s quotes:
Love all of you!
